ANDEVINE WINES

This is one of those wineries that sum up the Hunter Valley's timeless charm. If you are  looking for wines made with passion and in styles that are truly reflective of the Hunter region - then this is it! Shiraz, Pinot Shiraz, Semillon, Chardonnay and a  Rare Liqueur Verdelho are the main story here as is owner - winemaker Andrew Leembruggen's 21 years of experience working at some of the most established wineries in the region. These are wines that are elegant and sufficiently affordable to be enjoyed everyday but yet sophisticated enough to be taken out to impress.

ANDREW LEEMBRUGGEN

With a belief that everything in life should be soaked in passion and purpose Andevine Wines was created by Andrew Leembruggen in 2012.  Prior to that Andrew had made internationally awarded wines for some of Australia’s oldest wine families for over fifteen years.

He commenced his career in winemaking with a cadetship with McWilliams at Mount Pleasant in 1998 and rose to become Senior Winemaker in 2002 and remained in that role until 2010, accepting a position within the group as Red Winemaker.  The Hunter flowed in his veins and he returned to the Valley later that year to lead winemaking operations for Drayton’s Family Wines until his departure in 2012 to pursue his own interests.

In the time leading up to the creation of Andevine Wines Andrew had also crafted wine in some of the world’s most iconic regions including each end of the Rhone Valley, Bordeaux, Napa Valley, Coonawarra, and while based at Hanwood had made red wines from almost all over the country.
